Behringer SURGES ‘Liquid’ Multi-Mode Filter for Eurorack – Andertons Music Co

Description

Surges is a versatile voltage-controlled multi-mode filter that delivers high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filtering. With switchable 2-pole or 4-pole slopes for band-pass and low-pass outputs, it offers a “liquid” and musical tone reminiscent of classic analogue filters. The purely analogue circuitry is based on legendary 2164 and 13700 semiconductors, with loudness compensation as resonance increases. It covers an impressive frequency range from 18 Hz to 18 kHz.Key Features:Versatile Filter Modes: Provides high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass modes with selectable 2-pole or 4-pole slopes for adaptable sonic shaping.Analogue Circuitry: Built on classic 2164 and 13700 semiconductors, delivering warm, musical tones with a distinctive “liquid” character.Loudness Compensation: Maintains audio integrity by compensating for volume loss as resonance increases, ensuring consistent sound performance.Specifications:Width: 8 HPPower Requirements: 35 mA +12 V, 35 mA -12 VFrequency Range: 18 Hz to 18 kHzCircuit Type: Fully analogueFilter Modes: High-pass, band-pass, low-passSlope Selection: 2-pole or 4-pole for band-pass and low-passBehringer SURGES ‘Liquid’ Multi-Mode Filter for Eurorack – Andertons Music Co
