Charles Bryant has stepped out of the shadows of personal demons in recent years to share his songs, a series of three-minute chapters of the world from his unique view. While songwriting may serve as a sort of therapy for Bryant, the music he brings is gripping and jarring at once for the listener and offers a raw glimpse at the struggles from depression that may inspire a grimace and a smile from one stanza to the next.
