Platinum Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Premium One Piece Quilt Top Elecric Guitar Natural Premium

Description

The Ernie Ball Music Man Axis Premium One Piece Quilt Top electric guitar celebrates the legacy one of the company’s most enduring designs in an ultra-limited run of just 50 instruments. Building on the classic Axis formula of basswood body, custom-wound DiMarzio pickups and fast-playing asymmetrical neck carve, this release raises the bar with select tonewoods and exclusive finishes. Each guitar sports a hand-picked, one-piece quilted maple top paired with a figured birdseye maple neck for breathtaking looks and timeless tone. Available in translucent gold, translucent blue or natural with oxblood back, this instrument arrives in a custom G&G case, making it an instant collector’s piece. Premium Quilted Maple Top and Basswood Body for Iconic Axis Tone The foundation of the Axis Premium lies in its stunning tonewood pairing. A lightweight basswood body provides warmth and balance, giving your sound a rich midrange that sits perfectly in the mix. Sitting atop is a hand-selected, one-piece quilted maple top—an ultra-premium choice that enhances both resonance and aesthetics. The quilted figure adds shimmering visual depth under translucent finishes, while contributing brightness and definition to each note. Together, this wood combination delivers the legendary Axis tone: muscular enough for rock rhythms, articulate enough for fluid solos and refined enough for any style. With a high-gloss polyester finish and cream binding, the body feels as luxurious as it looks. Birdseye Maple Neck and Roasted Maple Fingerboard for Exceptional Feel No Axis is complete without its famously comfortable neck, and the Axis Premium takes it to another level. Crafted from white birdseye maple with a roasted maple fingerboard, the neck offers stability, snap and a fast-playing surface that invites hours of effortless play. The asymmetrical carve hugs the hand naturally, while a smooth gunstock oil and hand-rubbed wax finish ensures a silky, broken-in feel. A 10″ radius and 22 high-profile stainless-steel frets give you precision bending, long-lasting durability and accurate intonation across the 25.5″ scale length. The sculpted neck joint and five-bolt attachment allow smooth upper-fret access, so whether you’re playing shimmering open chords or soaring solos, this neck keeps you in command. Custom DiMarzio Humbuckers and No-Nonsense Controls The Axis Premium is armed with dual DiMarzio custom-wound humbuckers, voiced specifically for the guitar’s tonewood combination. These pickups strike the perfect balance between power and clarity, delivering rich harmonics, tight low end and a cutting top edge that shines through any mix. From searing high-gain leads to warm, dynamic cleans, the set covers a wide range of tonal territory. The straightforward three-way toggle selector makes it easy to switch between neck, bridge or combined settings, while the single 500k volume control keeps operation streamlined. This minimal control layout puts tone shaping at your fingertips, ensuring nothing distracts from pure playing expression. Road-Tested Hardware and Premium Music Man Appointments Built for serious players, the Axis Premium comes loaded with professional-grade hardware. The Music Man double-locking tremolo lets you dive bomb and shimmer with absolute confidence, designed for pitch-lowering only to ensure ultrareliable tuning stability. Schaller M6LA locking tuners with pearl buttons add both visual elegance and rock-solid performance, making restringing fast and reliable. The graphite acrylic resin body cavity shielding minimizes noise, while sculpted contours and lightweight construction maximize comfort. Every finish—translucent gold, translucent blue or natural quilt with oxblood back—comes topped with a matching headstock, ensuring the guitar looks as striking as it sounds. Chrome or gold hardware completes the look, cementing this Axis as a true standout.
